Everything You Need to Know About Using Circle to Search on the Galaxy S24

The Circle to Search feature on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, developed in collaboration with Google, allows you to search for information directly from your screen without leaving the current app. This feature utilizes Google Lens to find details related to the selected text or image. Here’s a summary of how to use it:

  1. Enabling the Feature: Before you start using Circle to Search, you need to enable it in your phone’s settings. Go to Settings, tap on Display, then choose Navigation Bar. In this menu, you’ll find the option to enable the Circle to Search feature.
  2. Using Circle to Search: Once enabled, you can activate the feature by tapping and holding the Home button (if using on-screen button navigation) or the Navigation bar (if using gestures). Next, draw a circle around the object or text on your screen that you want to search for, using either your finger or an S-Pen. After you release your finger or the pen, the feature will search the web for the object or text and display the results.
  3. Adjusting the Search Area: If your initial search doesn’t capture what you’re looking for, you can adjust the circled area for more precise results. For instance, if you initially circle a keyboard and get results for keyboard covers, expanding the circle to include more of the laptop can bring up the specific model in the search results.

This feature significantly streamlines the process of searching for information, making it faster and more convenient compared to previous methods which required taking a screenshot or using the recent apps screen.
