Lightning Finish: Donbok Nongrum Stuns Fazal Jamil in 10 Seconds at ATURTO 3.3

Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh – In one of the quickest knockouts of the night, 18-year-old Donbok Nongrum, nicknamed “The Finisher,” delivered a devastating performance against highly-touted teenage prospect Fazal Jamil at ATURTO 3.3: The First Champion on December 21, 2025.

The professional flyweight (125 lbs) kickboxing bout, contested under K1 rules—the only striking fight on the card—lasted just 10 seconds into the first round. After a brief exchange in the center of the cage, Nongrum landed a crushing left hook that floored Jamil. The referee quickly intervened with a standing count, waving off the contest as a TKO via punches.

Fighting out of New Delhi, Nongrum improved his reputation for explosive finishes, marking his third consecutive first-round knockout. This victory followed his rapid debut win at a previous ATURTO event and solidified his status as one of the promotion’s most dangerous young talents.

For 16-year-old Fazal Jamil, training out of Supremacy Muay Thai in Kolkata and known as “The Champ,” the loss came as a shocking upset. A former U16 World Muay Thai Champion with gold from the WMF in Thailand and an impressive amateur record featuring numerous knockouts, Jamil entered as a heavy favorite in this clash of underage strikers.

The event, held at Sango Avenue (6 Mile) in Itanagar with referee Jitendra Khare overseeing the action, drew attention for its youth-focused striking matchup. Nongrum weighed in at 123.2 lbs, while Jamil came in at 124.1 lbs.

Post-fight, Nongrum expressed gratitude to God, his family, coach, and teammates before issuing an open challenge to future opponents.
