Tommy Lee Jones’ Daughter Victoria Kafka Jones Found Dead at 34 in San Francisco Hotel
San Francisco, January 2, 2026 — Victoria Kafka Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead in a room at the luxury Fairmont San Francisco hotel on New Year’s Day.
Emergency services responded to a medical emergency call at approximately 2:52 a.m. on January 1, 2026. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department arrived and pronounced an adult female dead at the scene after finding her unresponsive. The San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the incident, but no cause of death has been disclosed as of January 2.
Victoria Kafka Jones was born on September 3, 1991, in San Antonio, Texas, to Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, photographer Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple, married from 1981 to 1996, also share a son, Austin Leonard Jones, who is now 43.
Victoria had a brief acting career, making her debut at age 11 in a small role alongside her father in the 2002 blockbuster Men in Black II. She later appeared in the 2005 film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by Tommy Lee Jones, and in a 2003 episode of the television series One Tree Hill. In a 2006 interview with The New Yorker, Tommy Lee Jones praised his daughter’s talents, noting that she was a “good actress” who held a SAG card and spoke impeccable Spanish.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Lee Jones; her brother, Austin; and her stepmother, Dawn Laurel-Jones, whom Tommy Lee Jones married in 2001.
