Do you know why the Jews are so wealthy?
They’re into international trade, finance, diamonds, precious metals… and every traditional industry that has made immense wealth in the world.
It’s because the Jews are taught one word in their childhood that shapes their mind for the rest of their life…
This word is called “Fargin”… and has a very deep meaning, which all of us must teach the next generation if we want them to be wealthy.
Fargin is a Yiddish word that means being happy for someone else’s success… it’s the feeling when someone tells you about an achievement, and you’re so happy that you don’t just congratulate them, you think about how you can make it even better for them…
And doing this has shaped three very clear advantages for the Jewish community…
First, it enables knowledge sharing… where the moment one Jew finds out about a business opportunity, he starts pulling his relatives and friends into it as well, without keeping it a secret, so that everyone makes money.
They know each opportunity is big enough for at least a thousand people to make life changing wealth.
Second, with this knowledge sharing, their trust in their community becomes so strong that they can easily give credit, honour their commitments, and that culture has a compounding effect on the business of the entire community while other communities are afraid that they’ll get an evil eye and try to hide their riches to themselves.
And third, with this mentorship culture, they’re able to expand to other countries, trades and have an abundance mindset that keeps them happier. Because once you are happy, you become more productive.
And if there’s one community in India which has a very similar vibe within themselves, it really are the Gujaratis. Oil, diamonds, exports, you name it.
