Trump Unveils Bold Vision for Skyscraper-Style Presidential Library in Miami

Miami, Florida – Former President Donald Trump has released striking new renderings and a concept video for his proposed Donald J. Trump Presidential Library and Museum, envisioning a towering glass skyscraper on the waterfront that blends elements of Trump Tower with presidential grandeur.

The design, shared by Trump’s team and his son Eric Trump, features a sleek, modern high-rise emblazoned with giant “TRUMP” lettering across the facade and topped by a dramatic red, white, and blue spire. Prominently displayed in the renderings is a full-size replica of Air Force One positioned directly in the entrance atrium, alongside a towering gold escalator in the lobby—a clear nod to the iconic escalator Trump descended in 2015 to announce his first presidential campaign.

Additional highlights include a massive golden statue of Trump captured in his raised-fist pose from the 2024 assassination attempt, along with replicas of the Oval Office, a grand ballroom, an auditorium, and a rooftop plaza. The project is being pitched as a multifaceted attraction rather than a conventional archive.

Critics have been quick to point out that the concept appears more akin to a luxury hotel or theme-park experience than a traditional presidential library. Notably absent from any of the AI-generated visuals are books, archival documents, or research materials—hallmarks of past presidential libraries.

While the ambitious structure is not yet under construction and remains in the fundraising and planning phase, the Trump Presidential Foundation is actively seeking donations. Florida officials recently approved the renaming of a nearby airport in Trump’s honor, signaling growing local support for the initiative.

Love it or loathe it, the proposed library embodies classic Trump spectacle: unapologetic branding, larger-than-life ambition, and a flair for the dramatic. As details continue to emerge, the project is already sparking nationwide debate over what a 21st-century presidential library should look like.
