Cristiano Ronaldo-Backed YouTube Platform to Stream All 104 FIFA World Cup Matches in 4K for Free

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken a major step into sports media by investing in a platform that will bring the entire 2026 FIFA World Cup to millions of fans at no cost. The Portuguese superstar has acquired a significant stake in LiveModeTV, the company behind Brazil’s popular CazéTV YouTube channel, which has secured exclusive free-to-air broadcasting rights for all 104 matches of the tournament.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will be available in stunning 4K resolution on CazéTV’s YouTube channel for viewers in Brazil. In addition to live match coverage, the platform plans to offer extensive additional programming, including daily analysis shows, behind-the-scenes footage, fan engagement segments, and highlight reels.

This deal marks a continuation of CazéTV’s successful model established during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where the channel achieved massive viewership numbers, often drawing millions of concurrent viewers for key matches. By making every game freely accessible, the platform aims to democratize access to the world’s biggest football event, particularly benefiting fans who may not subscribe to traditional pay-TV services.

Ronaldo’s involvement extends beyond Brazil. Through LiveModeTV’s international arm, the initiative will also launch in Portugal, where at least 34 matches — including all of Portugal’s games — will be streamed for free on YouTube. Ronaldo, who may still be active as a player during the 2026 tournament, is expected to play a strategic role in expanding the platform’s global footprint.

While the full slate of 104 matches will be free in Brazil, international availability outside of targeted markets like Portugal will depend on local broadcasting rights and agreements. Fans in other countries are advised to check official FIFA broadcasters or the FIFA+ platform for viewing options.

This partnership represents Ronaldo’s growing influence in the digital sports media landscape. By backing a forward-thinking, fan-first approach to broadcasting, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is helping shape how major sporting events are consumed in the streaming era. As the countdown to 2026 continues, CazéTV is poised to become one of the most-watched destinations for football fans across South America.
