Stereo open-ear speakers sit in the temples, delivering audio without blocking ambient sound, while multiple microphones support clear voice commands, calls, and ambient listening. In moderate daily use, a fully charged pair of glasses plus the case could last nearly a week before the case itself needs recharging. Because the camera provides continuous visual context, the AI can respond to what the user is actually looking at rather than relying solely on voice queries.

Practical demonstrations and confirmed capabilities include summarizing long incoming messages and reading the key points aloud, providing live translation during conversations or when viewing foreign-language text, offering real-time navigation and contextual guidance about surroundings, and capturing information from a whiteboard or presentation and automatically organizing it into Samsung Notes on a paired Galaxy phone. Samsung describes this as “agentic AI” that works across the Galaxy ecosystem. The glasses are intended to act as a natural extension of the phone, watch, and other devices rather than a completely separate product. When connected to a Galaxy Watch, for example, gesture controls become available. The overall goal is to keep users focused on the real world while still receiving timely, relevant assistance without constantly reaching for a smartphone.

Pricing, Availability, and Market Positioning

Samsung has not announced official pricing. Company executives have described the glasses as a premium product that will be sold primarily through Gentle Monster and Warby Parker’s retail channels as well as Samsung’s own. Some reports have floated unofficial estimates in the $379 to $499 range, but these remain unconfirmed. Pricing may also differ depending on the specific frame design and whether prescription lenses are included. Samsung has only stated that the price will be set at a “reasonable” level relative to the category.

Availability is scheduled for fall 2026 in select markets, with South Korea and the United States confirmed as early destinations. Broader international rollouts and exact launch dates have not yet been detailed. The company has made clear that the first generation will be audio-only, with a display-equipped version planned as a separate product in the future.

Yet the combination of fashion-focused frames, meaningful battery life, and genuinely useful AI features gives these glasses a clearer path to adoption than many previous efforts.
