“Greek God Name” is a stand-up crowd-work clip by comedian Max Amini, filmed during a live performance in the Washington, D.C. area.
The bit centers on Amini bantering with a front-row guest possessing the aura of a “Greek god,” only to uncover that the attendee’s actual background and identity do not match the persona at all. Amini uses the interaction to riff on cultural identity, immigrant family dynamics, and dating, seamlessly connecting it to running jokes with other nearby audience members.
